Growthnet brings live, real time interactive classes, webinars, counseling sessions, and group discussions with renowned teachers, counselors, mentors, psychologists, and facilitators from around the world to everyone. Each group is led by an expert in a particular style of coaching, counseling, Self or Group Inquiry, or bodywork. Each features a participatory format in which everyone can join equally. We draw from many modalities to address all kinds of self-improvement, in several different languages. Founded by John Toomey and Timo Kojonen, and sponsored by the Adelina Foundation, Growthnet itself promotes no particular technique or belief system; we provide a platform for experts of all kinds to help others. It's like a TV network for self-improvement, except that unlike television, YOU get to participate as well as the teacher or mentor. Since 1999 MayaCafe has been offering provocative and insightful commentary on arts, spiritual practices, feminism, politics, the global environment, literature, and many other topics.
Growthnet now brings Mayacafe to a live worldwide webcast audience. All topics are welcome. Maya will interview distinguished Chinese intellectuals, authors, artists, philosophers, and spiritual teachers. Conversations can be in both Chinese and English (Maya and some of her guests are fluent in both), and audience participation is welcome.
